Have season tickets for Atlanta, was a fun year.

Hard to not see the high enthusiasm atmosphere of Atlanta being good for US soccer overall. Definitely setting new benchmarks for support/attendance/etc.

It's fun going from watching the Premier League to MLS where mediocre players like Johnny Russell are top level attackers. Anyone who thinks the US can build a successful national team around primarily MLS players is naive.

It's a joke. I work with a kid who started following the sport because he did a semester abroad in Italy and likes playing Fifa.

He's so naive. Doesn't get the game or the history of the sport in general or even in the US. He thinks in 20 years so much money is going to he invested in the league that it will be considered a top one lol.

He doesn't know anything about the NASL and what they drew at times and folded. I think the MLS, but thinking it's a top league or producing talent is a joke.

How tall is Barron Trump?

Its near finished. They are playing their first 6 games away from home so they could finish it.

Nah not so much especially after what happened to Chivas USA. Many don't think it needed another team in LA and were hoping that San Diego would get a team.

In saying that they have one their first two games and one of the scorelines was impressive.

It will be interesting to see if they can build a fan base.

Would Chivas have the biggest fanbase in SoCal if they were still going?

I reckon if you invest in a sustainable way then it could work out

I don't think I was clear in my points. I do believe it is sustainable. I think it is near its peak or operating on a bubble right now that will result in a correction. Clubs valued are totally reliant upon the cost of an MLS expansion fee.

It's just never going to produce top talent or be a top league.
