Finally watched the Union v Dallas game today. Was very pleased with the chances we created without Ruiz, kind of surprised the defense had so many issues. We looked a bit tired after the mid-week meeting with LA.

EDIT: And no offense meant to your team wscottl - just a frustrated post.

Revs actually looked half decent last night. Feilhaber looked very comfortable in midfield. Still needed a penalty to win vs. one of the worst teams in the league, but the improvement was definitely there.

I read he and Joseph are starting to gel and look scary. Only a matter of time before your team gets good imo. Shows what a quality player can do.

I can't believe NY looked ridiculous tonight against Chivas. But they did. Robin Fraser's done a mighty job with that team.

Pretty much. But remember when Chivas were HORRIBLE? This is a huge step up for them. And I think a mulligan for NY. At least Backe knows what to focus on this week.

It took them a while to settle down. I think they have issues out wide and up front. Lekic seems ok, but needs some help/service.

There's a whole host of people in here that I've not seen outside of this thread....Bonjour to you all

I've started a FM11 game with LA Galaxy. Couple of things if you will...

1) It says all my games are televised live. Does that really happen?
2) Any tips for some youngsters to look out for?
3) What's the deal with the contract wage budgets? It says I can't pick some players in my squad as my wage bill is too high...is this because Becks is on 75k a week? (or so it says)
4) I can only list 8 internationals, of course I have 9 already. When I took one out of the squad, someone just signed him up on a free without me being able to do anything about it. Is that how it works?

There is a hard cap where you can only spend so much on wages. Excluding three DP's ( Designated Players ) You can pay those as much as you like. They do that to keep everyone close to the same level. All MLS teams have the same Hard Salary cap excluding DP's which you can have three of.

Yes LA are already a top team in the MLS.

Play with my Rapids and take it to them.

I won pretty much everything with the NE Revolution. Picked up Demerit on a free, Sal Zizzo, and my defense was immense. Darrius Barnes and Alston were rocks.

Should have won against NY (and CO) but we keep throwing away points. I think we'll draw in LA even though our record there hasn't been great. But our defense has to do better or we won't get anything.

The joke with Dynamo fans was that if Oduro could finish, he'd be in Europe.

Sadly, he can't. But he's good at getting behind defenses and stretching them out.
