In fairness I think the Mets had an infielder pitch the last inning. It's always fun when a position player pitches even if they are terrible doing it.

I tend to only look up the score when De Grom or Syndergaard are pitching otherwise it’s almost certainly a defeat.

Just remember ijjy, it's actually worse to be a Nats fan than a Mets fan. It's the hope that kills you, and that's been gone for awhile. Harper will go, and they will get nothing for him. Or, they will overpay and we'll see them sink with his deal into the sunset. Still:

My favorite Canseco moments are the ball bouncing off his head over the wall and him pulling a muscle throwing from the mound.

I sometimes forget he was a devastating player before he was 30.

Panda earlier this season was good fun. Decent fastball and a good curve.

Just three weeks to go until I get to see the Mets inevitably get blown away by the Giants and Dodgers.

Knowing my luck, i'll miss deGrom and Syndergaard or Wheeler and get Oswalt and Vargas, or worse, a washout :lol:

Oh.... and the Mets still Suck.

Nice of the Sox to not only sweep the Yankees, but to come back from being down 4-1 in the bottom of the 9th to take the 4th/final game of the series. Added to the division lead, took the final in absolute gut punch fashion. Just need to keep it up.

There's some honey badger in this Red Sox outfit this year. Ruthless.
