Prognosis for your Cubbies appears inversely proportional to my Rangers. Best of luck--I know a lot of Cubs fans could use some excitement, esp. as Lester may not even be your best signing so far.

Much appreciated. I've seen your Rangers play some very good ball over the past six or seven years. Those were some great teams.
When your team is basically unwatchable, as the Cubs have been for awhile, you find another one to watch when you need to see good baseball that isn't executed against your own squad. The Rangers played that role for quite awhile for me - God bless MLB.TV. It all runs in cycles.
We have three long years in the wilderness invested in developing what we're going to see rolling out over the next couple of years. I didn't really expect it to start coming together like this until 2016. Pitchers and catchers report in about 60 days. We'll start finding out then. More to come, if my sources are correct.

Just about right I reckon. Personally I still think Edgar deserves a lot more credit, sigh.
Edgar will probably be left out, like Lee Smith. Not entirely sexy, but one of the first greats at a new position. But I agree that Edgar should get in.
