Missing Games

The fella has a valid point . Watching Everton at the minute is an utter chore .in fact watching football in general is a chore. I get dropped off and picked up and live a 10 minute drive away and I really can't be bothered going tomorrow myself . I am going like as the season ticket is paid for but I am far from looking forward to going to goodison . I've felt like this for a long time but giving up something ive taken for granted for years is not easy .
funny how the mind works . Last night I couldn't be bothered . Now I'm looking forward to it . I'm sure the enthusiasm will be drained out of me after 20 minutes though

£10 on Lukaku first goal

Haven't missed a game in 30 years. That includes all aways, all European games, all FA Cup and League Cup, friendlies, testimonials and all the youth games. I call all the players by their first names because we see each other so often haha. Great blue me lads.

#standonme

Even more impressive when you think you've done some of this before being born
Good work

Spot on. Now that I take my eldest lad (9) I have to gauge whether the game will have enough going on to keep his miniscule attention span occupied, otherwise his constant fidgeting / up and down on his seat / trips to the toilet, not only gets on my nerves but also everyone around me . So I don't take him to games like Stoke, West Brom etc, but try to choose games that have goals in them even if it's at the wrong end sometimes !

ha. my mum's last boyfriend used to take his son to watch swansea at that age (League 2 at that point or old division 3) and there was times when he'd sit down and just play on his gameboy haha i think the fact it was a standing stand and he couldn't see didn't really help.

Hate is a very strong word, and I don't think I actually hate anybody.
In @ianefc case I just think he I a typical glory hunting supporter who will distance himself when things are not going well, but will be there when we have a chance of silverware.
I have no issues in anybody not attending games, there are a multitude of reasons for non attendance ( finance, family commitments, health, distance) and I fully appreciate peoples difficulties.
In @ianefc case he had stated:
He can go
And if we got to a final he would go

I personally think this is typical Kopite glory hunting behaviour

So don't gate him, but have no respect for him

The lad said he had a few season tickets under Moyes, we weren't winning anything then so how is that Kopite glory hunting. And most Evertonians I know would take a ticket for a Cup Final if they were offered one, even if they don't attend regularly. A lot of people go through phases of attending or not attending games through out there lives. stop talking crap.

He can afford to go the game he has no commitments to stop him going the games, his only motivation to stop going the game is he chooses not to as he feels we are not winning, hence in my eyes he isn't a true supporter.
There are thousands of fans who would love to be in his position, but for a range of reasons they can't get to the game.
In my eyes I don't want glory hunting supporters, I want fans who stick by the team the team through good and bad times

Absolute garbage

Everyone to his own of course, but I'd love to be in a position(time and money) that I could see Everton home and away week in week out. Would take something really special for me to miss a single game if that was the case.

To spend the day with his lad instead, what a plastic fan, don't want his sort around here.

would love to go week in week out but logistically its difficult living in kent. However I agree to an extent with the OP, this year I've been more inclined to play footie on a saturday than watch the game on a stream. Even west ham next week, I'd rather play footie than try and scrounge a ticket off a bloke on here!

Your footy manager has been on the spare ticket thread desperately trying to get you a West Ham ticket..... Think your going to be a uboat this week

Never been a season ticket holder, but definitely less bothered to go see Everton at Goodison under Martinez. Due to the utter [Poor language removed] atmosphere. I'm always trying to get to the away games, as it's a much better experience.

Didn't help that when I went to Man United at home, Everton put me into a blind spot area.. so I could barely see one goal. £45 and 3 hour journey (from Barnsley) to watch a post!

Wouldn't want Moyes back, prefer Martinez. Just wish he would alter tactics sometimes at Goodison and not be so side wards...
