Missing Games

*Just to put it out there from the off this isn't an anti Everton/Board/Kenwright/Martinez thread.*

I'm missing the Sunderland game tomorrow, decided to go somewhere with my little lad instead. This is the third match I will miss thus far this season and I'm not even bothered.

Prior to this season I haven't missed a game in years. This year (and most of last year) I have just been ambivalent.

Anyone else done this/feel like this? Or Am I on my own and acting like a pyar bad kopite?

I haven't been Goodison since Porto last pre season, I can easily afford it and it's less than 35 mins away.

I also held multiple season tickets under Moyes and Smith also in 07/08 I only missed 3 games.

To get to Goodison for every Saturday I have to leave on the Thursday the week before next.

I don't know. I think it's likely due to frequent poor performances and the negative atmosphere?

I don't think taking your lad out somewhere instead of going is that bad mate.

In missing Sunday cos I'm away, I'm gutted!

Hate missing the game, even though some games I walk out thinking I wish I hadn't bothered.

The ones we win are worth the pain!

Well I don't mean it's a bad thing, I could take him out at any given time. Just I'm opting to at match time.

To be honest, I live miles away so don't get to every game. Was at the Man Utd game and was surrounded by such aggressive, negative idiots that I didn't enjoy it at all. Maybe it was purely because we got pumped 3-0 though.
