EVERTON LATEST
"I've been told there is "a strong possibility" that Everton striker Victor Anichebe will join West Bromwich Albion in a deal worth around £5m. Everton will need to bring in a striker as a matter of urgency if he leaves.

"As for James McCarthy, Everton have yet to make another firm bid for the Wigan Athletic midfielder since an initial offer, believed to be £7m rising to £10m, was rejected.

"Everton still retain hope of signings Manchester City's Gareth Barry but time is marching on - and still no Marouane Fellaini to Manchester United."

So basically the same a 10am this morning.....

So no Fernando by the looks watch at end of deadline will just be Barry an McCarthy with felli and hopefully anichebe gone. I think Fernando was just like net radio bid to just make it look like we r doing something

Tonight is either going to end really well or it'll be a complete disaster. I honestly can't see it been a "alright" or "decent" we've got to many potential deals all relying on other deals which is so risky at this time in the window.

I know people have been saying that McCarthy isn't reliant on selling Felli and we can also bring I Barry regardless but in reality I don't think that's true.

At the moment - The likeliest set of transfers seems to be

Fellaini OUT
Anichebe OUT

McCarthy IN
Barry IN

So we'd have Jelavic and Kone as our striking options, and Barry, McCarthy, Osman and Gibson as our CM options
