Come on lid, apologise for what? There's still six hours left of the transfer window. Cool your beans and have a wee break if its making you make uncharacteristic tittish posts.

Pars are lower league now lid, its Rangers who get to play them multiple times instead.

"I've been told there is "a strong possibility" that Everton striker Victor Anichebe will join West Bromwich Albion in a deal worth around £5m. Everton will need to bring in a striker as a matter of urgency if he leaves.

"As for James McCarthy, Everton have yet to make another firm bid for the Wigan Athletic midfielder since an initial offer, believed to be £7m rising to £10m, was rejected.

"Everton still retain hope of signings Manchester City's Gareth Barry but time is marching on - and still no Marouane Fellaini to Manchester United."
 

£5m for Anichebe is decent business! As long as we bring in a striker.

I'd be OK with upping the McCarthy bid slightly too.

No mention of Fernando in that though. Odd.
