Anyone read the Mirror today? Nice write up on the clubs youthful injection rather than buying ready made talent.

Also, what do we know about Barkley 15.
 

Ross Barkley's been making the odd appearance for the U-18's since he was 14.

He's the 3rd England U-16 captain in a row we've provided - Rodwell & Baxter before him.

Had a quick google and apparently he's the absolute dogs bollocks - rave reviews for our own U-14s, U-16's & U-18's as well as for his England appearances... Best player at the Milk Cup by some accounts.

Barkley & Hallam Hope are touted to be the best young midfielder & striker in the country.
 
I hope he is English.

We need a squad of English players who train by running around a Maypole and use the carcasses of best British beef as punch bags.

The Wiki on Everton Academy puts him as a defender, but he's been banging them in, so he must be a forward.
