I've never been a comic book reader, but lately I have been thinking about writing my own.

I lie, I've started already, and in my travels I've discovered lots of amazing artistry in this world. But none more so than 'Miracleman', a series based on a character called 'Captain Marvel', he's been limping along in Convoluted Legal Ownership Hell for the best part of 40 years.

Regularly outselling 'Superman' in it's hey day, Captain Marvel was changed to Marvelman, and then from pressure from Marvel, became Miracleman. He was Britain's First Super Hero, and during the 1980's, Miracleman was born.

Alan Moore wrote the first 16 Issues (no issue 8), with Neil Gaiman taking over on 17. It only made it to 24 before Eclipse Comics went bust.

I have all 24 Issues, and because the comic hasn't been reprinted in over a decade, I thought I might drop it in here if anyones keen.

Be interested to have a look tbh. I was never massively into comics, but Gaiman is probably my favourite author so I was considering delving into the sandman series this summer.

You sound abit like me. I just bought Watchmen the other day and loved it. But Miracleman should have been made first I've now just discovered.

I'm uploading to imageshack now.
