Minutes silence

Sadly, without doubt. Observing a minutes' silence for ex footballers, even ones who never played for us, or fans of our rivals who lost their lives at Hillsbrough are rightly impeccably observed, doing the same for a senile old lady who lead a political party you personally didn't vote for, no chance. It's ironic people say her legacy is one of greed and selfishness given the attitudes of many towards her. Absolutely hateful, nasty pieces of work the lot of them, I'm ashamed they call themselves human beings, let a lone Evertonians as many of them are

"If love is something you cherish, it is hard to glean much joy from death, even in one's enemies."

on dangerous ground if you remove politics from personal lives. most peoples reactions are honest not malicious because they lost work, communities, probably lives to what they believe were malicious actions that had nothing to do with trying to do best for the country. she represents that not just some vague economic ideal. lots people jumping out on bandwagon just to sound spiteful I am sure but if you think that's the cause of everyones reaction then you just need to listen to the emotion in peoples voices who lost everything because of her legacy
