minor things that make you fume

Being forced to listen to Capital FM all day on high volume. I don’t get it. Do people actually get enjoyment from hearing the same 15 songs played 3 times a day each? Some of the music is actually alright, and I’m trying to not be a music snob. But I don’t understand why people do this at all.
Maybe a daft question but how come you are being forced to listen?

With ads on repeat too I'll bet. Its why I stopped listening to music radio. A friend of mine who worked in local radio warned this was coming back in the late 80s. All local radio stations playing the same limited number of tracks to satisfy whatever the record companies are pushing with the best deal. Makes a BBC licence worth it - not that I have a lot if respect for bbc output anymore either.

Forced is a little strong, but I’m getting back in to my trade after a long period of time away and working with some much more experienced tradesmen. I’ve only just got here and I’ve done a good bit of moaning about it, but everyone else seems to like it.

I need to start my own company ASAP.

Alan Myers linked in post.

He got a few things wrong this transfer window, and for him, to make a post like that when his whole aim is to get attention and use the mental health card knocks me sick.

Watch him rejoin in a week or so.

Get in earlier than everyone else, tune the radio into Smooth Country... Guaranteed half your workmates are closet country music fans.
