Todays rap.
A certain Krs1 back in the day described rap as a voice of black people....the LAST voice of black people. This was said the same time BDP, Public enemy, Skooly D and Stetsasonic were in.....ehem "full effekt" I often wonder what Kris Parker thinks of this LAST voice now. .....Money, cribs, Bitches, Hoes, Diamond earings....He would turn in his grave .....if he was dead. As would I ....if I was. It's a crying shame that such an angry, insightful artform has become nothing more than an advert for compulsive shopping.
