Yesterday's embarrassing humiliation is going to have a huge effect on the mental attitude of the players for some time. The pschological scars of that will take a long time to heal and it certainly won't be before the end of the season.

We were beaten 2-1 by Liverpool in the FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley, which was a far worse defeat than the one this weekend. Everybody thought we'd get tonked by United.

Everton 4 United 4
Everton 4 Fulham 0

*shrug*

Beg to differ. Getting humiliated at home on national TV by a team in the relegation zone was much much worse.

When we meet decent teams in the knock out round they usually put us out.

I just want the fraud to do one now lad Ive had enough of his drone

"Spud gun to a nuclear missile fight" and all the rest of his crap

Liverpool have beaten us so many times in my lifetime as much as it hurts, I've learned to get over it quickly.

Getting smashed everywhere on your own patch however against a side languishing in the relegation places in the league who you'd fully expect us to win against is not so easy to get over. This will hurt for years for me.

Aye hard to argue against it. Think back eleven years to the Moyes with fire in his belly who went after the opposition and got what we are as a fanbase. It's all about him now, not Everton.
