But yeah Mucha MOTM pretty much. Anichebe still looks very clumsy and uncomfortable with his body. McFadden was decent. Jags did ok hoofing. Duffy was troubled a bit. Barkley was a bit poo and it usually took him two seconds to come to the wrong decision.

McFadden, Junior and Osman were all lively. not sure Rodwell and Coleman are ready to return yet. Jags was solid should be OK after 90 minutes to get back involved although Heitinga and Distin do not merit dropping. I am interested in seeing how Junior gets on now, looks like a top player, never lost the ball once and won a lot of free-kicks for us. Coleman was shocking on the right, however, he was solid when he moved to right-back, well better then that Browning. That's where I see him long-term. obviously the fact that this was a reserve game made our top players disinterested and just going through the motions to gain match fitness. I will deduct that Junior is a good player and I want to see him in the first team now.

I was shocked when I saw my first reserve game at how slow and lazy it was. Thought it'd be to at least friendly level but it was terrible. You seem to get the odd player trying to prove they deserve a place in the first team but most look like they can't be arsed and it's a chore.

I wouldn't mind seeing Junior against Spuds with Fellaini. Good tackle, great vision, pass and technique.
