I agree, he is a massive loss. But people on here are acting like he scores all our goals and blocks every shot. He is just one player, and we have numerous players coming back from injury, who can cover his position. They may not be as good, but they can still do a job.

Who will replace him? He is the 1 player who is unreplaceable

Cheers mate. The voice of reason.

Funny that many people at the start of the season were ****ging Arteta for his shocking deliveries.

It's like those who are jumping on the poor Jade Goody bandwagon.

Don't joke about these things, mate.

I'm nearly in tears here.

I'm in tears for our chances of winning the FA Cup which have just decreased massively. But things are not as dire as everyone is making out. Last season Arteta was nothing special and we still played decent football and got some really good results.
Slot Ossie into the middle and we'll be fine

Wow, thats great mate, welcome to ignore world.

Just telling the truth mate.

I feel sorry for the girl and her family, but I think the shameless cashing in on someone's death is terrible, and not going to back it.

Thousands of people are in the same boat as Jade, but not going to get the millions that her family are going to get.

Sorry if that shocks you, but its the truth. Especially as a really great Briton is on his way too, Bobby Robson.

Arteta is considered by many to be Everton's most skillful player since the days of "The Holy Trinity" (Harvey, Kendall and Ball) and "The School of Science". Arteta's skillfulness and being played on the wing in a team who, until recently, had limited success makes him resemble cult-hero Kanchelskis of the Everton team of the '90s - Joe Royle's "Dogs of War"

Additionally, he has proved an extremely potent creative force thanks mainly to his pinpoint crossing ability and propensity for the killer pass, with his total of 13 league assists[10] in the 2006-07 season being second only to Cristiano Ronaldo. He is also renowned for his ability from set pieces, with 14 of Everton's 52 league goals last season coming from an Arteta free kick or corner.
