If Mikel keeps on playing the way he has been in the middle I can see in a few years time him being voted into the Hall of Fame. When you look at some of the legends in there already it shows how highly I rate him.(y)

Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta says he is happy at Goodison Park and finds rumours over his future "a little tiring."

The Spaniard tells Nuts magazine: "It's a little tiring. I've always said I'm very proud to represent this club and am happy here.

"We should be aiming for a top-six finish because I feel we're playing the best quality football for many seasons."

Having not played for Spain at senior level yet, the 26-year-old becomes eligible for England duty next year.

But he added: "My ambition is to play for Spain. Sorry - playing for England is not in my future!"

GO ON MIKEY LAD.

Was going to post the exact same thing. He loves it here and I honestly think he'll stay here another 2 seasons if we bolster the squad with quality to play some good footy (which is what it sounds like he wants) and maybe bag a trophy.

He has a stormer in the derbies in front of his Spanish mates Torres, Alonso, and Riena there's a good shout for him getting his cap IMO (but I'm still under the impression he'd be an international if he was at a Chelsea, Arsenal, or the [Poor language removed]).
