Hi, long time prowler first time poster

Peeps droppin mad tears over the game; understandable.

Peeps saying Moyes out after the 1st game of the season; madness.

There is no chance of him going during a season unless he walks out which would be devastating to the club, don't take banners or start a movement because its not going to happen and if it did it would be AWFUL for us, who could do better given the situation, fat Spanish waiter (he's just waiting for the right offer... apparently...)? This season is his all the way so give up on the crusade, use that built up aggression to campaign for Tibet, North Korea, Somalia, recession, cuts... you catch my drift?

Everyone complaining about taking Beckford off for Fellaini, 'the final straw' for some, FFS! I would have swapped Beckford for a turnip by that point in the game.

Let's just take two minutes on time-out corner, lets not all s**t ourselves, Goodison felt flat today... diffident pollution... we were as big a let down as the team were because there's more to being a fan than armchair managing and constant stream of misanthropy, anger and hate, remember the city game, we turned that round!

I think all this crying over Moyes, Kenwright, Elstone etc has to be left outside the ground which I didn't feel it was today and if we cant do that well, were no better than Newcastle fans.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh rant over. Until we find investment and/or buyer I'm afraid we'll have to take each game as it comes, de-contextualize if you will, get lost in the week to week emotion free of European glory, settle being average... in the greatest league in the world. Temporary panacea against a situation we can do nothing about.

It was cold and it was wet and Everton played like complete morons.

THEY get paid huge amounts of money to perform, WE pay huge amounts of money to watch them perform.

Its up to THEM.

The problem with the beckford substitution wasn't that he was playing well and didn't deserve to come off, it was because he was our only recognised striker on the field and saha wasn't the man replacing him. Fellaini, a defensive midfielder was.

You're missing the point with the substitution. It wasn't booing Beckford coming off, who had been poor, it was booing the fact he was being replaced by a midfielder and leaving us with no striker on the pitch whilst 1-0 down. Not only that, it was also booing the fact that Moyes had employed Beckford as a lone striker again when he clearly can't play that role at all. At no stage yesterday did we play two up front. At home. To QPR.

Didn't feel cold to me, shirt sleeves and shorts was the order of the day. Not relevant I know, just saying. Apart from that, spot on.

He put Cahill as striker and Fellaini behind him. Cahill upfront with Fellaini behind him, whilst not ideal, was an improvement. I guess I just thought it was a bit out of order, booing Fellaini's first start in Christ knows how long.

And plus, who the the feck else is there?!?

Saha but he must know something we don't e.g. not at full fitness.

Yakubu. Nuff said. People say ****e supporters live in the past, when was the last time yakubu played well... he wasn't even good enough for Leicester.

Why didn't we just stick Anichebe on then we'd have an out and out striker playing in his favourite position. Problem solved?

I think we are going to be mid table definately. We needed to start well, I know its one game in, but after that performance there is no way we can win our next three games because we are not enough of a threat. Look at Villa yesterday, they dont mess about, they got the ball in the net 3 times, job done. We cant do that, we are not a threat. Coleman is one of our most direct players and was massively missed yesterday and will be for the next 3 games.

I couldnt care less about sheff utd, i hope we lose... THE CARLING CUP IS A DISTRACTION. WHY THE HELL DO EVERTON RUIN THINGS FOR ME EVERY START OF THE SEASON, WHY CANT THEY BEAT TEAMS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO. WHY IS DAVID MOYES AN ARROGANT STUBBORN IDIOT. WHY CANT OUR PLAYERS JUST PLAY THE SAME WAY AS THEY DO AT THE END OF THE SEASON. IVE SPENT THE LAST 24 HOURS WITH THIS HORRIBLE DEJECTED FEELING AND TOTALLY LOST FAITH IN THE MANAGER AND THE PLAYERS AND FOOTBALL IN GENERAL. i know its one game, but there were a lot of questions answered in that game and all the answers were negative. I thought with the pressure off this year that we could really push for top 4 for as long as possible, but no way can we. Beckford will prove he is a championship player at best this year. Anyone see him against Villarreal? he looked way out of his depth. Saha cannot be relied upon, hes a crock, we are seriously lacking upfront, for god sake get Yakubu back in the side, he is twice the footballer that beckford is. NOTHING ANNOYS ME MORE THAN THE CRAP I SAW YESTERDAY. THANK YOU EVERTON, THANK YOU DAVID MOYES, THANK YOU FOR RUINING MY WEEKEND AND MAKING ME LOSE FAITH

sperlz .... I agree with everthing you say about Moyes, and have felt this way for a number of years. He's too cocky by half. It's about time he stopped talkng the talk and made his team walk the walk. Can ANYBODY really think that he is good enough to replace SAF at United??????? Not in a million years!

You know what - yes. I despise Anichebe, but him and Beckford up front would have been better than shoehorning Cahill into the side, because the gap between Beckford and Cahill was the number one reason we lost yesterday.

Anichebe and Beckford would have seen two strikers hitting channels and looking to get in behind.

Or even Vellios.

But to be frank, if Saha, Arteta and Fellaini were deemed fit enough for the bench, they should have started.

Therefore, Saha and Beckford should have started up front, 4-4-2, because there was no justification for a 4-5-1 at home to QPR.

Moyes got it badly wrong, and will continue to get it badly wrong. The successes he has tactically are usually completely by accident, like how Osman given freedom to play in the back end of last season was down to injuries.

I have absolutely zero enthusiasm for Everton now. There's no practical reason to support this club, and they can do one until the board are gone. They're not getting another penny from me.

Moyes should use the Sheff Utd game to try and create a team that doesn't just rely on Baines. It was nice to see Beckford cross in the ball for Cahill's missed sitter but how often do we see that sort of thing. It was a chance created randomly because it was not static. Barkley in CM please with Fellaini/Cahill. Arteta when playing well can cross well. I wouldn't mind seeing Vellios start and be given a chance and it's a shame Gueye is injured. Moyes can do better. Please Moyes just try and create a new vibe to the team somehow.
