I feel like we have been linked with him regularly since about 2014, I think he is much better than Rondon and I think he would be a good alternative to DCL, if its permanent I just hope we dont overpay for him, he's in the last year of his contract.

I could warm up to Batshuayi if it's cheap. But at the same time, the issue with getting castoffs from Chelsea is that they are on huge wages. Is he really going to take a big pay cut or are we going to do what we always do, pay way too high of wages to marginally improve our squad? I'd prefer him to Rondon but a fit Rondon (big if) probably isn't much worse to be honest.
