If we had the options Tarkowski would still be the one getting dropped all day on form. He’s lost a yard and it’s showing badly.

Not sure what it looks like now after he's got quite a lot of playing time this season, but remember checking data last year and seeing that since Keane signed for Everton we were conceding a full 2 goals more per 90 when he was in the starting 11.

And yet for some reason after another match where he's started and we've shipped really poor goals with the backline looking all over the place, I log onto GOT and see Grealish's thread right at the top full of people complaining that he's a fraud and not good enough. Keane's thread not even on the first page.

Stuff like that makes me feel like we deserve the teams we end up with, when for some reason massive numbers of us hound and chase away the actual quality players that we have while championing a serial loser like Keane.

1.1 without to 1.7 with in the last 4 seasons. That's an extra 2 goals conceded every 3 games, or roughly 25 a season

Keane plays we lose is starting to gain momentum, thank goodness.

If he gets another extension at the end of this season I will, erm, still be supporting Everton.

That would require us doing something I am beginning to believe may be impossible.. Everton needs to sign a RB in a transfer window.
