Mate I've just watched it again and you're very mistaken. There's no gesture at all from Keane to play it. I don't know what you've seen.

How does he have plenty of time to clear it? Hes runing onto the ball and your screenshot clearly shows theres a player running at him to close him down.

Aslo if you look at the first screenshot. Loom at where keane is, look at where the ball is and look at where fernades is and look at the body shapes of the players.

Now tell me how fernandes is the first to that ball and gets a unchallenged shot off and tell me with a straight face that it isnt keanes fault

Watch it again. Gueye takes a second touch when he could have cleared it easily instead. That second touch could have been a clearance there.

Fernandes reacted quicker because he was looking at the ball and Keane was looking at Fernandes.

None of which changes the fact that Gueye never should have blindly passed it there and if he was going to he should have made certain he passed it well enough to complete the pass to a teammate and he didn't.

Yeah that's a valid point.
There's quite a few who've said 'I've given him some stick but got to give it to the lad, he's playing well now.' Cool, totally get that.

But there's also quite a few who are gutted he's doing well and desperate for him to fail.

As a fan, I'll never understand that

It has to be on a personal level then.
 

If someone came towering over me pushed me twice while shouting in my face, they would get twated too, be no slap, colleague or no colleague. Not the missed run to the pass that Guaye was angry over initially, it was just before when Keane wandered up pitch and left gaping hole for Mancs to get in.
