Southampton want 60-70m for VVD, which is only 10m less than we might get for Lukaku who scores goals for fun. Putting it in that context it's not overpriced.

Very true. Cant for the life of me figure out how one (admittedly) good season can warrant a worldly fee...like that !! .

Im not convinced he's actually worth half, I guess I have missed something.... Mind you I thought, Still do in fact that John Stones is all style, No substance and can't actually defend... Looks like a thorough bred with the ball at his feet, glides effortlessly like a ballet dancer but can't do the simplest of things.... Like actually defend.


So yeah... in that context 25 million is a good deal for a big lad in his early prime who can use his physique to defend attacks..with surprising regularity ....bet he doesn't "glide" half as good as Stones though.... Pffft. Getting a good player here.
