Seems to me like he’s the one who was helping Zouma more than Zouma was him.

Some are never going to rate him it seems. Stick Zouma, Mina or anyone else next to him makes no difference, he’s an excellent centre half.

I personally would have made him captain. He’s one of the first names on the team sheet and rightly so, Coleman will come under severe pressure from Sidibe as the season progresses.

Think it's a bit of a myth personally. Zouma might have had a yard of pace on Keane, but his positional sense and distribution were at times lacking and certainly aren't a patch on Keane's.

Both centre backs were very good today, both defensively and on the ball. If Mina's as intelligent as Keane, this could be a good partnership and their relative lack of pace shouldn't be an issue.
 

Silva also deserves credit for developing Zouma. He didn't have a brilliant start when he first came and had a poor season before that.
We have to be patient with the new arrivals. It shows that signing players already used to the Premiership makes it much easier for a manager.
