I remember years ago (must have been about 1996) when Michael Branch was just breaking through, in a History A-Level lesson penning an ode to him, it went like this:

7 years does seem harsh imo.
It's not like dealers inject into people's eye balls. People buy drugs because they're fun, this puritanism isn't good for anyone.

At least we can be fairly certain he's not a grass.

I agree mate. Alcohol and Cigs are fine (which is why the government allow them, nothing to do with taxes) but any other drugs are pure evil and everybody who goes near them should be locked in a tiny cell to rot.

Alcohol does more damage to society than pretty much every drug apart from heroin and cocaine.
