Micah Richards

Mancini stated that he thought his squad was too small, so he needed to bring in 6 or so players at least. He is not going to start shifting players out now that he is finally getting some in. He would of bought Maicon to strengthen that position, the last thig on his mind would surely be to weaken it again, to us.

Please can some people just have a modicum of realism.

Not havin a go at anybody like, just trying to put this thread to bed.

He's a blunt instrument at RB. Think he's better at CB. Not surprising Mancini is looking for a replacement, imo.

This. Maicon is also 31 I think, so hardly a long-term replacement for Richards.

Hibbert is a much better defender than Richards, but Richards has a lot of potential and is decent at bombing forward. No-way is Richards a better defender, he's actually a bit of a donkey to be fair. People need to get the footy manager and fifa mentalities out of their heads. Tony is a warrior for us, loves the club and will fight to the death for this club. Richards is all about the bling.
