It just how it is, the best players always gonna go where they are payed the best. Time of Maradona going to Napoli and fighting and beating rich northern clubs (who all literally see Naples and its citizens as trash, i know guy from North Italy who refer to them as "virus") is gone.

Google tells me there ate 144 thousand soldiers in UK army. Let's say Lionel Messi is on 500k a week so 25 million a year so his wages would give the soldiers all £173 or so. I think that'd pay for all of them a good night out.

Google tells me there are 1.3 million nhs workers so they'd only get £19 each.

Either way, insane numbers.
