Message to Southampton fans

I've noticed we've had quite a few Southampton fans posting in the Koeman thread trying to put us in our place. GOT are very welcoming to other teams fans, probably more than most, and we have fans from clubs such as Spurs, Leicester, Palace and Sunderland posting on here on a very regular basis, who are popular posters because they're respectful and don't act like tits.

We don't mind a bit of banter, but if you come on here with your insecure rants about how Koeman wouldn't dream of taking a step down to little old Everton, then that really says more about you than it does about us.

You're welcome on here if you want exchange views in a respectful way, but if you just want to behave like a bellend, then I suggest you get back to shaking hands with the unemployed.
Congratulations on your promotion to mod mate.

They'll be made up with this thread. I don't know why anyone on here cares what they have to say. Just ignore them.

I had a brief look on one of their forums: they seem to believe that a club is only as big as the last couple of seasons (which is handy for them as they finished top half both times).

All about the here and now basically.

More like here today, gone tomorrow where yoyo clubs are concerned.

I appreciate the original message but do we really need another thread to moan about Southampton? The koeman thread is bad enough

Quite like Southampton. The biggest league win I have witnessed as an Evertonian was against them in the early 70's.
Everton 8 Southampton 0.
Thanks for the memories ;)
Incidently Joe Royle scored 4

Remember that, mate. David Johnson scored 3 and Alan Ball got the other. Johnson scored the winner in the Derby the week before.

Do post only the most patronising waffle ever seen in the forum's history, mate?

Can't say I noticed.

good comeback that...cheers!

Didn't we roll over last day of the season for them once so they could stay up? I'm sure we did in the 90s when they often stayed up by a point.
