This is goal.com's Merseyside 11. I think this will give us a better idea than us (slightly) biased fans lol :)

http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...to-suarez-via-gerrard-the-ultimate-merseyside

6 Liverpool players to Everton's 5

(3-5-2) - Howard; Johnson, Skrtel, Jagielka, Agger, Baines; Allen, Fellaini, Gerrard; Suarez, Jelavic

It's pretty much based on form so I can't really argue with the chosen players to be honest..........

What's Gerrard doing in there then? Pretty sure Coleman is in better form than Johnson as well.

3-5-2 is a massive bag of arse as well, and another way to shoehorn an extra Liverpool centre half in.

haha pretty much the same response - great minds think alike

...also joe allen is a cracking lad, but for £15 mill he doesn't really do anything. Great control, balance and holds the ball well, but he never tries anything outrageous. He's scored only about 5 goals in his career, i don't think his assists are much higher? All of this being that he's not even a defensive midfielder, he's a central midfielder. If he's playing in a team like wales where wingers like bale and bellamy are scoring the goals whilst ramsey is hopefully doing the same from centre midfield then it's not a problem. But RS don't have that, they have a striker who constantly misses the target and (although young), sterling and downing/assidi or whatever plays on the wing, don't contribute goals. Therefore, it's a problem, because his strengths of helping turn posession into goals, are wasted

Where are you from mate? I know you're a kopite but where are you from?

GK -Howard
LB -Baines
CB -Jagielka
CB -Skrtel
RB -Hibbert
LM -Pienaar
CM -Fellaini
CM -Allen
RM -Mirallas
CF -Anichebe
CF - Jelavic

But I hate Suarez so I don't want him and think that Johnson is a bad defender and Gerrard is out of form- so this based on feelings and is totally unobjectve

anichebe ahaha mate he shouldnt even be in an everton 11 nevermind merseyside 11

gk - howard
rb - johnson
cb - jagielka
cb - agger
lb - baines
dm - lucas
rm - mirallas
lm - pienaar
am - fellaini
cf - suarez
cf - jelavic

that would be a terrific team. suarez is better as a creator than a finisher, if he wasn't a greedy **** then jelavic would get close to 30 goals. it was a toss up between lucas and gibson, i know the RS overrated him horribly, but he was terrific before he got injured, think it was vs man city i was realy impressed by him. maybe gibson still should be there like, just feel lucas prob better defensively and would allow fellaini to be really effective
