….its only a waste of money if he fails to be an effective footballer for us.

I agree he was high risk given his injury record, there’s certainly an argument to say we shouldn’t go for players in that category, but I presume that was factored into the knock-down price given his profile and clubs linked.

He will be a waste of money if he continues to be unavailable but it’s just too early to give him that tag. I’d be more concerned if he was suffering continual recurrence of the same injury but a hernia is unlikely to be repetitive.

If he’s the player who can reach the same level as KDH and Garner yesterday, we could have some unit on our hands.

As with Dibling, let’s not write him off as a waste of money just yet.

Obsessed. See if you can go a week without mentioning him or perpetuating conspiracy theories about him please.
