2025/26 Merlin Röhl

Obviously I want him to kick on and be a great player for us, but I think he has been so built up before ever really been seen playing, that he can't do wrong.

At the moment he's running round like headless chicken.

Hopefully he pins down a certain spot and kicks on, but he certainly hasn't pulled up any trees.

I just look at the injury record and rememher Moyes' infamous words "i will only sign robust players".

Then i hope we are able to turn him over for a profit in the summer.

Thought he did ok again on Saturday..... Of course first touches were a little slow, but grew into it in the short time that he had on the pitch.

Will only continue to grow and get better this guy. Providing he stays fit.

We haven't bought him yet and I highly doubt we are going to pay money out for him then sell him a few weeks later Zat. Also in regards to the 'robust players' comment, that surely applies across the board so I'm guess we will be looking to move the likes of Branthwaite on also based on your logic as he doesn't seem very robust these days does he.

If the getting caught in possession is just a matter of him needing to get up to speed, he could end up being alright.

He looks big and physical, and his running beyond the forwards was something we don't see much of here.
