Funny that, Barcelona seem to rate him very highly, obviously he's not in form but, massively over rated, not for me, think he's a class act and one day will find the consistency to make him a very top player.

Not having that he's overrated, just not on form/doesn't fit managers style or whatever.
Barca rate him highly? They sold him! If they rated him they wouldn't have got rid.

And he is the same player we loaned in 4 years ago, no real end product, can't shoot, can't beat a man, in fact i believe if he was not a barcelona academy player a lot of fans would not be so warm to him. Almost like they hope he will be fantastic.

Because i do, i hope we can be a fantastic player for us, but 4 years he has got no further than 2 months of creativity, there us a reason why neither koeman or martinez really played him.

Wot

haha he can't, if running fast past them doesn't work then he is stumped.

Mate go back and watch the west brom game, more so the second half. He runs into their left back over and over again because he didn't have a clue how to beat him. I'm not comparing them in any way, but by 4 years at united, Ronaldo had stopped doing his arsey step overs and learned how to beat someone, del hasn't.

They don't rate him that much they put a buy back clause in the contract. ok mate.

Obviously won't be exercised, but the potential they saw in him was massive. It can still happen.

I've seen him leave many a full back for dead. I think that Boro full back from the Quarter Final last year is still on his way back from the shop.

I do know what you mean though, and he is frustrating, but i'm not gonna write him off just yet. There is an unbelievable player in there. That 3 month spell last season proved that. And people forget he very nearly dragged us through to the FA Cup final, changed that game completely when he came on.

They put a clause in there in case he developed as a great player. he was a great player in their academy so on the off chance he kicked on here then of course they put the clause in.

There is plenty of young prospects they never sold as well, more so ones they planned to play. whereas the likes of del bojan and the like we're let go quite easily by them

lol
This might be old news but Mourinho isn't happy about Koeman saying he'd like Depay. He would never do something like that apparently!

The Portuguese said: "I think that my normal answer if somebody asks me about a player from another team, my normal answer is 'the player is not my player, the player belongs to another team, the player belongs to another manager', no comments at all.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has shown an interest in his fellow Dutchman Depay
"I think that is the ethical answer and when we are always worried about ethics and respect, and rules, I just said that if it was me making that kind of comment about an Everton player, I would be in trouble."
