Memphis Depay is sure to be on the agenda when Ronald Koeman holds his pre-match press conference today.

Koeman faces the media at 2pm today to preview Saturday afternoon’s clash with Swansea City but the Everton manager is certain to be asked about his interest in Depay.

The Blues boss has been speaking his mind during the international break and confirmed that Manchester United’s Depay is a January transfer target.

As usual, Koeman will hold the press conference at the club’s training ground Finch Farm in Halewood.

The Dutch boss will also be asked to provide injury updates on players including Leighton Baines and James McCarthy.

The ECHO will running a live blog from the press conference with reporters Phil Kirkbride and Chris Beesley providing updates.
 

Loan with view of perm with an agreed fee in January. Surely...Koeman keeps talking about him. The OS even twitted when he scored for his national team.
 
come what may, in the cold light of day, does Koeman have the sway to sign Depay without delay? I love the way he can spray the ball into the net hooray, come on Everton keep plugging away, what do you think, have your say? this is a game at which more than 2 can play. personally I don't think we can let him slip away.

Why don't we go down to the bay, we could eat some hay, make things out of clay, what do you say?

Unfortunately we need players at every position. Priorities for me are another central midfielder and a second striker. I never want to see Clev start next to Barry ever again. Not sure Depay is actually an upgrade on what we have out wide. Has never looked like much when he got games for United.

I agree with Cleverly. At the moment, other than Bolasie, none of our attacking options set the world on fire this season so Depay on loan would be a no brainer.
