I liked it when Bill dropped the F-bomb. I was shocked and aroused in equal measure.
Id probably go for the inventor, we could have the Mancunian Dyson on our hands.
Broken link that mate, what is it?
Oof! Prentice will be banned for Goodison now.
sorry mate. in full.Dave Prentice: Keith Harris – a man whose modus operandi is nothing to write home aboutby David Prentice, Liverpool Echo Aug 19 2011 “I’VE got a new buyer for the Reds,” said Seymour Pierce consultant Keith Harris exactly two years ago this week.He hadn’t.Two years earlier he declared: “As regards the sale of Everton, there are certainly grounds for optimism. It’s a terrific club.”We’re still waiting. There has to be a more efficient way of selling a football club than using a man who immediately makes you think of a duck. The tale related by the Blue Union’s meeting with Bill Kenwright last week simply underlines that fact. Here’s a snippet: Bill, “Of course Keith Harris is involved….Keith Harris is involved on a daily basis.Bill went on to tell a story concerning Keith Harris; he’d put forward two guys who, in his opinion, were suitable potential owners of Everton Football Club. Harris claimed the two guys controlled a hedge fund; one was the head of ICI in the Far East and a second an inventor. They conducted due diligence and Everton were ready to sign an agreement when Bill smelt a rat; investigators discovered that ICI had never heard of the person concerned, he actually lived in a one bedroom flat, and the second guy, the inventor, was based in Manchester. That brings to mind a quote I’ve used on this page before, but it bears repeating. It was uttered by Manchester United chief executive David Gill.“Keith Harris will go anywhere that there’s a bit of publicity around. That’s his modus operandi, but his track record in football isn’t anything to write home about.” So why is he still being used by Everton?
If he was the Evertonian he claims to be , and he's the only chairman who doesn't take a salary it would make sense too , only his number 1 aim as we know is to get a big major profit otherwise every man woman and dog knows he'd have sold the club a long time agoJust sell Everton for £1 Kenwright, Earl etc... I'm sure there would be some interest then.
*Hides*
I doubt BK has ever seriously considered ANY bid for the club, sorry but to me he loves the attention of it all, good or bad becuase i'm sorry i simply do not beleive that there's been no resonable offers for the club and as for this nonsense about wanting an evertionian to take over is utter B0llocks it just wont happen and excuse for him to cling on limpet like to our glourious club.fecking unbelievable, no wonder we're becoming a laughing stock. When all clubs around us seem to be bought and sold with ease, admittedly not all have been good deals for the clubs i wonder what criteria we are actually searching for in investors, does BK just want another evertonian on board for the good of the club. Football is a massive massive global sport, the premier league is at the pinnacle of this and we are a top half established club. All the money men sem to want to be part of this as it can also establish potential owners/investors own 'brand' with naming rights etc. I am just at a loss as to why absolutely nobody wants any part of us it astounds me.
