Player Valuation: £35m
Simple question really..

Would you rather have a mediocre Football club, with a loyal fan base?

Or would you rather be bought out by Foreign hordes, simultaneously attracting a massive fan base and money grubbing players?

I think you know where I stand..

If i'm following you correctly, I wouldn't class Everton as "mediocrity".

Even if you weren't implying this, i'd stick with my heart and go for the loyal fan base, Everton could win the treble with a team full of £30 million superstars but it just wouldn't feel right.

I would say we're pretty mediocre at the moment.. Nothing to special, not to horrible..

I just want us not to have to sell our good young players. I dont want tons of cash, just enough to keep hold of our assets.

This, i don't want sell to buy policy either. We don't need Billions, it would just be nice that if Moyes wanted a player he could have cash to buy him

Why do we all presume we'd immediately become a Man City or a Chelsea as soon as we get any real money??

How about we stay the same as now, but we have the money to buy a half decent striker? Sounds good to me.

Right at this moment, considering were we should be, yes, it's disappointing.

However, on the whole I wouldn't consider Everton to be a mediocre club, neither would I consider Liverpool, Aston Villa or Inter Milan mediocre clubs, despite their current positions.

I'd just like Moyes to have £20 to £25 million to spend each year, if necessary (i.e a [Poor language removed] hot striker right now).

With respect, how could you presume we wouldn't?

I would stay with Kenwright if we were going to be bought by someone on the same level/ Money wise.

Nor I, I think I came off wrong on the OP.. Mediocre Team/season maybe more appropriate

Just enough to be competitive, so we have some of that money stuff that you need to push on in the league.

I don't want a super rich jarg daddy who will bring in loads of beauts like Ballotelli and Tevez and alienate the players totally from the fans.

We should be looking at having a similar out lay on transfers to Villa, Sunderland and that.

Them, they are the surprise package this year. How i'd love to have £13m to spend on a striker like they have with Gyan, Bent etc.

Great Chairman, with superb backing and a good stadium. But dya know what, they're Sunderland FFS and they have money.

KENWRONG!

Buy Out for sure.

You gotta compete. Anyone who thinks otherwise would be content pushing [Poor language removed] uphill for the next few years. Buying better players keeps your best players happy, ala Pienaar.

Tough tough question in all honesty.

I'd love a third choice: Stability. Money can give you that. Don't think I'd want to go crazy in the transfer market but I'd love for Moyes to have some options.

Think Lerner at Villa.
