I'm a big fan of this guy but I know he splits opinion on here.

What do you expect from him next season? Will he make the starting XI or are we expecting him to be an impact sub?

I believe he will rip a couple of full backs but will largely frustrate with a lack of end product.

We're talking about McGeady here, mate. Not Deulofeu.

McGeady seems quite productive, typically whips in a good ball after he beats his man.

Reminds me a bit of Bily in that the game passes him by sometimes or he jinks past someone then seems hesitate over what to do next, but that's as far as the similarities go. He's obviously got bags of skill and seems very well thought of abroad.

I think Bobby stole a march on the competition by buying him as I suspect a number of clubs were waiting for his contract to expire in the summer before moving. A good preseason I think will get him up to speed and he'll come in very handy in the Europa.

Really hope he is a squad player who occasionally proves a match winner from the bench, if he is starting for us then we haven't fixed one of the two weak areas of the team

Still insist my original view of him not being good enough to start in a team with top 4 ambitions is a valid one

Thought hes actually looked good so far, expect when he gets up to full match sharpness next year he'll be ripping everyone new arseholes

Love some of his mad fifa 5 star skills

Really? Aside from a couple of crosses they've all been the opposite of whipped.

I think he'll be good and has been. Goes past players as easily as anyone I've seen in a blue shirt probably, and has hit a couple of decent shots.

What I've seen of him i've liked, hope to see him starting more games next season. He has shown a good eye for a pass and an ability to get past opponents.

But don't think you can really tell how a player is going to perform long term from a few cameo appearances, either good or bad. So looking forward to seeing him get more game time to make a better judgement.

Would be wonderful if he, Coleman. Gibson and McCarthy formed a good understanding that they could carry over to their national team.
