i think the time for hoping for the best and/or worrying about what may happen is over.
the truth is everyone is guessing as nobody knows what the future may bring.

its time to get behind the team and put any nerves to bed.

im sure we will know a lot more about our chances by saturday night but even then it wont be definitive.

if we have a bad season , we will deal with it.
if we have a good season we will enjoy it.

this season seems very similar to that one to be honest, we're being written off on all counts, apparently we're not even a threat anymore: Didier Drogba excited by competitive Premier League - Barclays Premier League - ESPN Soccernet (drogba you moron)

this lescott thing isn't nearly as emotional as the rooney fiasco but it threatens the same amount of unrest. im still confident about this season, we undoubtedly have a stronger squad than we did that season, its just down to digging our heels in and seeing what we can come up with.
