Send him to a play off hopeful in the Championship and let him grow like Coleman did at Blackpool.

If he could play in the SPL as a 17 year old you would like to hope after two more years development you would like to think he'd be ready for a loan at a Championship club. I think a loan, even if it was just a short term one wouldn't do him any harm.
