would he be a player worth lookin at. Looked good in patches in premiership last season and been in outstanding form last few months! Young player with real pace and maybe affordable

Erm... it was only three months ago he was surplus to requirements at Blackpool.

Not worth spending all of our transfer kitty on, and by that I mean all £250,000.

Matt Phillips as been on fire for Blackpool since returning from a loan spell at Sheff Utd and normally a winger, i think Blackpool have been playing him upfront and he's been banging em in of late.

Is pacey and can take players on and now it looks like he's added goals to his game. Would be worth a bit i would imagine cos once a player starts doing well at Blackpool, Holloway wants big bucks for em!.

He looked ace on those FA Cup highlights then, albeit against non-league opposition.

Actually we were against non-league opposition today as well and looked utterly gash so fair play to him.

He's only 20 anyway so you've got to assume he's got a bright career ahead of him.

I mentioned in the summer that picking Phillips and David Vaughan from the wreckage of Blackpool's relegated squad would have been good for us.

Phillips is raw but he possesses real pace. However, given his form of late I think the potential costs would be too much for us at the moment.

I'd be keen to give him an opportunity to develop based on what I've seen, but then I'm not a Premier League manager.

I am unexcited at the prospect of signing these boring English names. I want some sexy Spanish flair player from somewhere like Levante or some ****.
