Decent performance, would have easily beat them 3 or 4 IF we had a center forward.
Playing with Maupay in that system is like having 10 men from kick off...
Maupay moves like he is 7foot 400 pounds. The worst of all worlds with him. Small, uncoordinated and immobile.
 
It’s going to be another slog of a season for us,desperate for an injection of new blood,Young is 38 and stood out in amongst our regulars,hoping Garner,Branthwaite and maybe one out of the under 21s can add to us,but the requirement for more quality/bodies for this squad was a stark reality there today.
Wouldn’t rely on any of the under 21s I watched today. They could take a place on the bench.
 

It was refreshing see us in control of a game. How many preseason games in the past have we just looked completely lost in possession?

Was nice to see controlled, and as already know. The issue being only two players with any ounce of creativity in the attack.

Get a striker, get a winger, we will see much improved output. Because again today we could have had 4/5 goals if we didn’t have a toothless attack.
