My point was more to how many in Europe think that it's a cakewalk everywhere else and the European teams have to slug it out. It's no more harder in Europe than it is anywhere else.

When England are favorites to qualify from a group it shows the dearth of competition.

European qualifying is a lot harder than the N.American, C. American and Carribbean qualifying. Honduras, Costa Rica, USA, Panama, Mexico and Jamacia, at least 3 of those teams will be in the World Cup but not what of them would get into the top two of any European group.

It's the World Cup so the whole world should be represented, but it's far harder in Europe to qualify.
