well, we are the masters of the draw...only Stoke could foot it with us last season. But thus far this season, they have not drawn any games, so the draw-master mantle is presently ours alone! CYOB

No. He came on to warm applause. Did not give much away in body language during long warm up. Celebrated goal enthusiastically. Walked straight off at end as usual.

Not one of those players who played all the game (and I'm including Osman here) will start at the weekend.

That wasn't too bad for a 2nd string side. A decent run out for the bench players so they are ready if called upon.

Also, some people are never happy. We win and they complain about the performance. We play well and they moan we didn't win.

God knows how this board will react when we lose a game.

Let's face it, it's just like watching Everton. We should be used to it by now.

That was terrible. I'm not going to bother trying to take any positives from the fact we had loads of the ball in the first two thirds of the pitch, as they only really pressed us in their third and that's where it all went to sh*t.

Kone was appalling. He may still need time to settle, but at the moment he is pyar tosh. We have zero decent strikers. Wish we could sell Jelavic or something and try and wheel and deal for one, but then again, Martinez bought Kone for £5m, so there may be no point trying.

Only bright point was Gerard, for me. Looks decent and enthusiastic, if a little raw. Put in a great shift and was blowing out of his arse by 75 mins but still managed to beat a lid in a 20 yard footrace who'd had a head start just before extra time. He'll be a very useful impact sub, short term.

Martinez isn't filling me with confidence so far. Not enjoying what I'm watching.

Poor finishing was the problem, some decent balls put in the box especially by Deulofeu no forwards attacking the space. we would have had double figures if we could finish. We are despetate for a goal poacher.

Definitely mate. We had 31 shots but only 8 on target. Tells its own story I think!

Two things we are missing with this style of football. Pace and flair.

I thought Kone was awful, I don't think I've ever hated a player so much after such a short space of time, He's simply garbage! We need a real striker not a VERY poor man's Saha.

He could have walked over to it he had that much time. He should have been out to it and put it somewhere in the main stand.

Thing is, he's ours and we need to go easy on him. He can score goals but looks a bit lost at the mo. Give him time to settle in and find his feet (literally I fear after last night) before ruining him.
