Yeah, wasn't pretty. We could and probably should have been much more comfortable too. Had Koné not scuffed his chances there'd be a lot less complaining I suspect.

Bbc say 31 shots, 8 on target I think.

disappointed Barkley didn't score 10.

Maybe he was already thinking about the headlines in tomorrows paper a little too much and that's not a dig at him at all. He was great, and I'm so excited that we'll finally get to see him mature over the coming season.

ALSO I hope kone isn't a confidence player because after today he'll have ZERO for the next match. I HOPE he isn't one of those players who gets progressively more awkward/unlucky like someone else we know who flails around getting in the way of everyone .... eeek! Just don't think he is right for us.

Deloufeu wasn't "outstanding" as some people are putting it. He did well on a few occasions in both halves but the rest of the time was dispossessed or just generally being poor with his distribution. That said, one of our brighter players tonight all the same.
