Be interesting to see how Martinez approaches the early rounds of the cup. From what he was saying when he first took over, I'm expecting him to really go for it in both cups.

I'd start Jelavic personally, if he doesn't score against Stevenage then start Kone against Cardiff. I think I'm with everyone else in hoping Deulofeu gets a start. Wouldn't mind seeing Stones at centre half either.

Robles
Stones

Lundstram

Give the usual starters who also play international footie a break.

Stevenage will always remind me of being a pedestrian for a year. I'd been to a singles' house party there (was in-between wives 2 and 3) and, after drinking the bottle of wine I took, and half of somebody else's, decided to drive to the nearest lay-by and sleep it off. Needless to say I didn't make it to the lay-by before the blue lights appeared in my rear-view mirror.

Yes, I know, I deserved to be caught. Anyway, Stevenage is just off the A1 between Letchworth and Hatfield. If you've ever been to Knebworth then you'd know anyway.

I don't think that Bob's Everton will suffer the same fate as Moyes' Everton. We'll run rings around the lesser teams. I'm going for a win by five goals (notice I didn't say 5-0!) :dodgy:

Oh, and by the way, Lewis Hamilton is from Stevenage too.

Nice one ijjemon.

If this is a draw does it go to a replay? I'd quite like to visit Stevenage after everyone's sold it so well

I imagine that there are usually a few snipers in this tower, and anyone who tries to leave Stevenage Internment Camp is subsequently shot.

That clock tower thing looks like the most out of place piece of modern architecture I've ever seen.
It would be like having Gaudi in Slough.

Shame.

Anyone remember when they'd keep playing replays until there was a result?

We had a couple that went to 5 games or so in the 90's against Boro and Oldham, I think. Didn't we smash them both in the deciding matches? They probably just got bored before we did!
