Imagine Everton sacking Jelavic if he scored the winner against England in the last 16 of the World Cup.

You just have to think about it to appreciate how nuts their decision was.

The Italian team trashed the hotel they were staying in as well. Horrible [Poor language removed].

Ha I suppose when you put it like that.

But still think it's quite funny how much they couldnt take it so they just sacked the player.

Yeah when the news got out the Korean media p*ssed themselves over it.

Ahn Jung Hwan later turned down a move to Blackburn because 'they asked me to do a trial. Ahn Jung Hwan (speaking about himself in the third person) doesn't do trials'.

He then went on to a very middling to poor Kleague career before opening a restaurant at a local beauty spot. You can tell it is his because it has a huge banner of himself plastered to the outside.

Funny how things work out.

Ha fair play to him. I'd well have a banner of myself outside a restaurant I owned if I'd have scored the golden goal in a WC quarter final.

EFCNIK doesn't do trials either.
