Been wanting to rate the players badly since the final whistle, will do it here.

Howard - 4. Was bad, but not at fault for their first two goals.
Coleman - 5. Nothing to say about him today, really.
Stones - 3. Needs dropping i reckon, can't wait for Jags to be back.
Funes Mori - 5. Excusable performance, he's still learning the league.
Galloway - 4. Same as Funes Mori, can't blame him.

Unbelievable.

Have a look at his attempted 'clearance' for the third goal they scored, and the fact we can't defend a cross or corner with this biff in the side.

Naisy - 5. Meh.

Are we just ignoring the fact that is only real contribution to the game was playing in Arnautovic then?

But yep, both played better than Stones and Galloway. Deary me.

Lukaku by a huge margin.

Virtually having to win games on his own at the moment - tracked back about 70 yards at one point to make a tackle. Kone tended to move in nothing more than four yard strolls.

Another par performance from Fumes Mori - if you judge being responsible for yet another goal being the 'par'...

Because i'm supposed to pick him apart despite the fact that it was, what, like his 10th start in the league?

Maybe 4 is too harsh for Brendan but i didn't think much about his rating, he wasn't the main reason why we were so bad in defense, but still, he wasn't good.

Stones was shockingly bad though.

Don't care about Naismith.

Any reason this is an excuse? His record - and the defence - since he came in vs Chelsea is utterly dismal.

I don't wish to be rude, but I cannot for the life of me think how anyone could seriously consider Tim Howard for MotM, I knew I should have omitted him from the poll.

Because our only solid defender is Jags, and we miss him badly. Without him we have no leader, no one experienced and it's incredibly hard to slot in these circumstances.

We can't make out Funes Mori to be the bad guy when his partner, who's supposedly one of the best young CB's in the world, is under-performing like he was today.

And about their third goal, Ramiro had every right to expect Howard to deal with that ball. He's still at fault like, but not like Stones is with their first.

As we lost, and Rom scored twice, I doubt Barry will get much of a mention outside our four walls so to speak, but he played really well today and seemed to be the only one of our midfield players interested in making tackles and getting in first. His passing was also excellent.
