MATCH OFFICIALS NEWCASTLE UNITED VS EVERTON

Mr Andre Marriner from the West Midlands is in charge for the lunch time kick off in the North East. He will be assisted by Mr S Ledger & Mr A Watts. The fourth offiicial is Mr H Webb. Mr L Ashurst is the match delegate and the assessor is Mr D Laws.
Mr Marriner's last Everton game was against Reading in the FA Cup last season at "The Old Lady". He recently officiated the Chelsea vs Arsenal game.
To date he has refereed 6 games issuing 21 yellows and no red cards as yet

He's a decent ref, glad we've got him. He isn't trigger happy with the reds either. Fairly sure I saw him book someone for diving this season too?

I find it quite hilarious that Howard Webb has been punished or demoted or whatever you would call it since the debacle against Man City. From World Cup final to fourth official and Leicester City games, well done Howard!

Agreed, however I'm always disappointed with people called Andre who don't look like:

A) The Giant, or
B) The lead singer of Outkast.
