Whats the most memorable Everton match that you've witnessed as an Evertonian?

You don't have to of been in the stadium, just a game that took place during your time as an Evertonian.

This is an idea taken from Radio City, as I've just listened to Tony Scotts choice.

He chose the 1-0 V UTD in 04/05

I'd go with Everton beating Arsenal 3-0

This is obviously an age related thread so some of the older folks will have Trophy winning memories.

What's yours?

Bayern Munich semi second leg. Nothing comes close...and that includes the final.
Yeah for sure that game we just knew the final was ours what a week that was got into London Saturday morning back home for
Game on tv my old man says I had a final ticket for you if you had phoned
Ps for younger readers no mobile phones back them

I went to the semi, the final, but couldn't get a ticket for the FA cup final. I was devastated. 15 and sulked because I couldn't do all three...ah the good old days...

...I think so but one from left field has to be the Southampton semi final at Highbury as it had been so long and it was the realisation that we once more were on the verge of being the country's top team.
My older brother went to that. I listened to it on the back field on a crappy old radio. He did say it was an amazing day though.

...ironically I was playing myself in those days, no live footy on telly and we all listened to the latter stages. I was fortunate to grow up in the 60s/70s but that was a special feeling. I can only imagine it would be similar now if we were on the verge again, especially for an era of fans who thoroughly deserve it.
