Match day parking

First time to Goodison for a fair few years tmoro, taking my little lad to his 1st ever match, any advice on where to park? Don't mind a bit of a walk if it means a better getaway after the game

Stanley Park (in the shadow of the Pit) is okay, not cheap at 7 or 8 quid, but safe and only a five minute walk.

if you can get there handy enough, cherry lane off the drive by the cem, then just across the cem on the way home and back down the drive

free then at least

Best place is up towards Anfield next to the Arts academy, quick getaway, you can get stuck in the Stanley park car park.

Approaching from Queens Dr or the East Lancs, Goodison is thinly served by car parks, official or otherwise. The only one I can think of coming from the East Lancs/Queens Dr is the one opposite the Taxi Club (£9). Filled usually at least an hour before kick off.
Gradually extending resident-only on-street parking without preparing for the many cars then displaced by has created a nightmare.

I grew up off Cherry Lane when it wasn't permits.

Match days, both EFC & LFC, could turn into a nightmare.

Less people drove to the game then though.

£7 last season matey, used it for the West Brom game.

It's £7 on Walton Hall Sports Centre too this season
