CNN reports that the shooter had a high powered rifle which will always fall outside of any gun law here in the States because what will people hunt with if they can't go after Bambi with a small howitzer?

I'll pull back on this lest I go off on my gun control diatribe. What I will say is with less guns available, the violence in Britain may not be any lower but instead of getting shot, you'll get stabbed or crocked - both of which you can usually walk away from.
