The lad at times didn't look up for it but we kept a clean sheet. He's a proper footballer but today something seemed off at times
He is a defender first and foremost but could do a job in midfield. I agree with argie that I would rather develop him as a right back as against grock teams like Sheff utd, Palace etc he would be found wanting. Would be great against the likes of City, Liverpool but Burnley would own him at CB IMO

I agree. Short play seems well defined but the long ball is still a bit wayward. Think he is cute enough to learn and adapt considering he plays in several positions now
